Many people fail to realize that Kentucky was part of the American Revolution. Kentucky was the western front of that war. The British not only entered Kerntucky but they armed Native Americans to attack the settlers in Kentucky in hopes of ousting them from the territory.
The Kentucky Military History Preservation Alliance's mission is to protect, preserve and promote Kentucky's military heritage sites and contributing landscapes for the benefit of Kentuckians now and in the future.
